Agrumi
The fruit of citrus is called hesperidium, it has a rounded flattened at the poles or elongated shape. The peel consists of a rough, rarely smooth, outer layer and a spongy inner layer called albedo, which can be more or less thick. The external color varies from yellow to orange to red, while the inner color is white. The peel is not eatable in the fresh state, except for the lemon's peel, however it is of considerable importance in the industrial exploitation of citrus. The skinned peeling fruit consists of cloves, each wrapped in its own membrane to protect a set of very juicy thread-like particles. The seeds are housed in the cloves and are very tough. Not being in any way edible, preferably some ranges of citrus are produced without seed.
Tutti gli agrumi sono ricchi di vitamine, innanzi tutto quelle dei gruppi C e P.
