Khaki

The diospiro, also called persimmon or khaki, is a fruit plant native of the Far East. It is also known as the lotus of Japan.

It has laxative and diuretic properties and is not recommended for those suffering from diabetes or have problems with obesity. It is very suitable for cleansing the liver and for the nervous system. If tasted while still unripe, may provoke the classic sensation of "mouth-related". A tactile taste sensation of harshness and roughness that is mainly felt on the back of the tongue.
